Baseline _ Homegrown
“Back in November we saw urban art installation Homegrown set up shop in town. It featured local artists including Catch 22, Danzig, Robin Ross, Infected by Design, HeDreamtMars, Lowdown and TRI. Located in the heart of Blackpool’s town centre, at NWBaseline’s Victoria Street studio space, the installation was a huge success.
The opening night attracted close to 200 people wanting to get a preview of the artwork and pick up their very own piece to take home. The evening also included a bassy soundtrack from DJs Forthkind, Relic, Beach Club, Chris Leahy and Rob Draper which was pumped through the amazing sound system, sprayed by Catch 22. A whole range of different people came down to show their support and soak up the atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities for mingling and catching up with people. It was a definite hit.”
